General Education Core and Graduation Requirements

You must meet three sets of requirements to graduate from UH Manoa:

  1. General Education Core and Graduation requirements
  2. College or School requirements (e.g., Colleges of Arts and Sciences, School of Nursing)
  3. Major requirements (e.g., family resources, accounting)

This section describes the General Education Core and Graduation requirements. You also should become familiar with the requirements for your college/school and for your major. With careful planning, you may be able to select courses that simultaneously satisfy more than one requirement.
