SecurityCampus Security Campus Security provides protection and security for the campus community and the physical plant at UH Manoa 24 hours a day throughout the year. The Campus Security patrol is responsible for enforcing federal, state, and county laws, and UH Manoa rules and regulations. Its duties include detecting fires, detaining trespassers, preventing theft and vandalism, and investigating reports of suspicious persons and incidents. Upon a reasonable request, officers will provide an escort service from dusk to dawn for students and staff members. Sixty-eight red emergency call boxes with blue lights for easy nighttime identification, are located throughout the campus to provide instant communication with the Campus Security office. UH Manoa Campus Security complies with the 1999 Clery Act.
