ASAN 442 Globalization and Identity in the Himalayas (3) Examines the influence of local culture and global flows on identity formation in the Himalayan region. This seminar examines gender reflected in traditional music, dance, and theatre, including character role and performer persona; approaches of performance and culture studies, and an “Asian way.” A-F only.
