Instruction is given in 14 individual lessons per
semester, either one half-hour lesson per week (1 credit hour) or one
full-hour lesson per week (2 or more credit hours). Lessons are not made
up unless instructor is notified a reasonable time in advance of the
excused absence.
Registration for lessons and choice of teachers
must be approved by the department chair.
Assignment and admission to these courses are based
on tests and auditions given by the department during the advising and
registration period. Applied music courses cannot be audited or taken
CR/NC.
